IT’S A KINDA MAGIC
The other day we fabricated a small counter for some folks with a motor home, they choose a piece from our remnants, the only concern they had was that the color they liked we only had several small pieces none of which was the size they needed, I assured them that we could make it work and the counter would be ready in a few days, I could see in their eyes that they were unsure that it could be done. When they returned they saw the completed counter and were amazed, unable to tell where we had seamed it together she proclaimed it’s a kinda magic and Queen music started running through my head and I could hear Christopher Lambert say those very words in that Scottish accent from the original Highlander movie.
Probably the most unique thing about Corian is that it can be cut up, shaped and seamed together in such a way that it is almost impossible to tell that it is not all one piece, making design possibilities almost limitless. It is also very useful when installing counters, we can bring your kitchen counters in several pieces and when finished you end up with what appears to be one continuous surface, no seams to feel, see, or collect bacteria. It also makes Corian very versatile, we can make use of almost every square foot of a sheet and what is are left can be used in a variety of applications, and if your counter is ever damaged we can simply remove the damage and restore it to like new condition. We have also retrofitted old displays and unwanted counters and given them new homes keeping them from the landfills.
I really enjoy that feeling when you finish a job and the customer can’t believe their eyes with the finished product, maybe that is A KINDA MAGIC

Is it worth the risk?
When my father and I decided to open our business we both had work for companies that offered stone as well as solid surface and laminate. We weighed the pro’s and con’s of each and without any outside influences we choose solid surface as the best overall counter option and for the past 8 years have fought to convince others that we had made the correct choice. Now after reading the information offered on this site I believe I have found the resource to back my claims and the old adage that people have used stone for thousands of years and it hasn’t hurt any one can be put to rest. I can see whole mountains carved up gone forever, workers dying of lung cancer, towns drinking water tainted from rivers that flow from quarries, installed into peoples home’s where radon slowly seeps into the air and bacteria grows infecting the inhabitants. Sounds kind of like a horror movie, but it happens every day. All I ask is you read the information on this site before you make a decision on your counters and ask yourself “is it worth the risk?” can you live with the knowledge of the harm you will be causing to the countless people around the world and to those who share your home, and to the planet we all share

Premier Corian Urns ???
We are starting a new venture, to some it may sound morbid but we have created a line of cremation urns made solely from Corian. At the moment there are 2 standard sizes, a horizontal @ 7.5X7.5X11 and a vertical @ 10.5X7.5X6.5 in 9 standard colors ($197.00) and 5 premium colors ($347.00), there is also a remnant color option @ $147.00, these are urns made from the drop ends of counter top production. We have also designed an urn that is shaped like a coffin which is 18'' tall, 8'' at it's widest point, and 3'' deep ( $347.00). The coffins are really cool looking and we have had great response to them especially when we've made them into clocks, ( $397.00). We use mainly dark colors, such as black or a really dark brown, for the coffin clocks and have had the hour marks laser etched into the face.
We can also make pet urns, keepsake urns or custom urn sizes for what ever your needs are. We have access to laser etching as well as name plates to customize any of the urns and we can also add the clock works to any as well.
For more information emails us at premiercorianurns@alliancefabrication.net or call 509 888 0739. We will be updating our web site soon with a full section on the urns.
We are really looking forward to seeing how this plays out and have hopes that it will be our main source of income.
