The other day we fabricated a small counter for some folks with a motor home, they choose a piece from our remnants, the only concern they had was that the color they liked we only had several small pieces none of which was the size they needed, I assured them that we could make it work and the counter would be ready in a few days, I could see in their eyes that they were unsure that it could be done. When they returned they saw the completed counter and were amazed, unable to tell where we had seamed it together she proclaimed it’s a kinda magic and Queen music started running through my head and I could hear Christopher Lambert say those very words in that Scottish accent from the original Highlander movie.
Probably the most unique thing about Corian is that it can be cut up, shaped and seamed together in such a way that it is almost impossible to tell that it is not all one piece, making design possibilities almost limitless. It is also very useful when installing counters, we can bring your kitchen counters in several pieces and when finished you end up with what appears to be one continuous surface, no seams to feel, see, or collect bacteria. It also makes Corian very versatile, we can make use of almost every square foot of a sheet and what is are left can be used in a variety of applications, and if your counter is ever damaged we can simply remove the damage and restore it to like new condition. We have also retrofitted old displays and unwanted counters and given them new homes keeping them from the landfills.
I really enjoy that feeling when you finish a job and the customer can’t believe their eyes with the finished product, maybe that is A KINDA MAGIC
